Elstead Lighting
Elstead Lighting is a British company that specialises in the manufacture and distribution of decorative lighting. It was originally known as The Elstead Forge and was founded way back in 1686 in the tiny hamlet of Elstead, Surrey, England. The forge was taken over in 1967 by Geoffrey Lucas and began producing gates, railings, and general ironwork plus a few lights as surplus. The lights proved popular leading Geoffrey to design and produce more – a simple change which started Elstead Forge on the journey to where it is today.
Elstead Lighting now sell lighting products all over the world - lighting beautiful homes, hotel bedroom and pubic areas, coffee bars and restaurants. They have brought together an eclectic range of light fittings for both indoors and outdoors with their collection of lights using classical influences in both their design and style.
Elstead are proud to still use traditional handcrafts in the production of their lights as well as embrace the modern technology available with CNC machines. A large number of the Elstead interior collection is manufactured in Alton, Hampshire using traditional welding and patination skills to create distinctive products.
