Higlett House Renovation: Bathroom Lights for Small Spaces
Loni Parker, the brain behind bestselling interiors’ bible, Adore Magazine, has created a masterpiece of cohesive style and modern coastal luxe in her Higlett House renovation. Her light touch and eye for detail in has enabled her to transform this house into an inviting and stylish space where you can instantly relax. We have been lucky enough to share Loni’s renovation journey with her in the form of some bathroom lights, kitchen pendant lights and hallway lights - more on that to come!
Higlett House Master Bathroom
The master bathroom at Higlett House is a clever piece of design, as no bathroom existed in the space previously. By reconfiguring the centre of the home, Loni was able to fit this extra bathroom into her internal layout. With no external windows and a width of only 1.4m, lighting for this small space was a key consideration.
Along with a very necessary skylight to bring in daylight from above, our Orb Sur Wall Lights were used beside the mirror for vanity lighting. Incorporating bold Newport Jade Green tiles along one wall with matching accents and stunning brushed brass tap and hardware, all from TileCloud, this inspired bathroom is a genuine delight.
Higlett House Ensuite Bathroom
What started as another spatially challenged space was cleverly expanded by stealing from the hallway to turn it into a 1.8m wide x 3.2m long area. While still the same width, the extra length allowed for a layout reconfiguration that included moving the door.
With a stunning Waverley vanity and Pill mirrors by ADP Australia taking centre stage, Loni chose the Orb Mirror Wall Lights by Lighting Republic to complement this space. Symmetrically positioned either side of the double mirrors, these impactful and versatile wall lights provide just the right task illumination while keeping an intimate ambience. TileCloud were the go-to once more for the beautiful tiles and brushed brass tapware – just stunning.
Loni has done exceptionally well maximising these small and restricted spaces to create two bathrooms filled with a light, airy and cohesive aesthetic. We can’t wait to share the kitchen and hallway reveals for Higlett House, coming soon!
